When I was 21, I decided I didn’t need to get any older than that. In my mind, I had reached the perfect age. I could vote, I could buy liquor (though hopefully not both at the same time 😳), and life felt wide open.
But then came my 25th birthday…
My husband casually mentioned it to neighbors, and I laughed and said, “Yeah, I’m a quarter-century old.” Suddenly, the words hit me like a wave. Quarter-century? That sounded ancient!
That moment planted a seed. It made me realize how much of aging is in the way we think about it. Over the years, I’ve discovered that we don’t have to accept aging as decline. Instead, we can embrace it as growth, wisdom, and the freedom to live with renewed purpose.
And that’s what led me to write a book
That’s what led me to write Stop Thinking Old: Think Young, Live Long. My book, and everything I share here, comes from one simple truth:
✨ The way we think about aging changes the way we live it.
This blog is my way of keeping the conversation going. I’ll be sharing reflections, practical strategies, and stories to help us live not just longer—but better.
So, let’s talk. What does “thinking young” mean to you? Drop a comment, or join me on my Facebook page to continue the conversation.
